SALON DE ART 개관 특별 전시회내 마음 별과 가치
A R T I S TJOOYOUNG PARK
나는 보이는 것에서 보이지 않는 것을 바라본다.
삶에 대한 구도(求道)적 작업은 ‘시간’의 흔적과 축적을 통한 삶의 형상을 표현하는 것으로부터,
‘바람'의 중의적 의미(wind/wish)를 담은 획(劃)의 작업들로 이어지고 있다.
바람 은 보이지 않지만 분명히 경험되어, 일상의 순간에 특별한 영감이 된다.
작업의 주된 표현인 세밀한 획은 바람에 대한 반응으로, 찰나의 물리적 기록이자 얕고 깊은 호흡이 되어 실제(實際)할 수 없는 잔상과 함께 회화적 상상이 된다.
인위(人爲)의 최소단위가 되는 획은 나무, 구름(혹은 연기), 새 등의 형상을 통해 건물의 구성 요소인 벽, 창, 문, 지붕, 굴뚝 등과 함께 공간을 구성한다.
이에 빛과 어둠의 대비, 안과 밖의 역설, 평면과 공간의 전환 등을 통해 모순적 질문을 남긴다.
이와 더불어 전통재료의 기법적 특성을 응용, 무채(無彩)와 유채(有 彩), 재료의 질감 차이를 활용하여 보다 풍성한 서사가 되고자 한다.
