Salon d'art 개관 특별 전시회내 마음 별과 가치
A R T I S TMIJIN PARK
박미진은 색층과 색층을 100여 번 쌓아 그려내는 작가의 독특한 표현기법인 ‘중채법’을 활용하여 여인과 꽃, 나비, 길상 등의 소재로 인간에 대한 사색과 가치를 환기 시켜주는 작업을 하고 있다. 대표작으로 인물화시리즈 illusion(환영), Awakening(자각)가 있으며, 최근작으로는 식물화시리즈 ‘사유의 정원_P.Plant‘가 있다.
사유의 정원_P.Plant는 2020년 COVID19라는 갑작스럽게 멈춰버린 낯선 일상에서 경이롭게 다가온 야생의 꽃들에 대한 이야기이다. 오늘 마주한 야생의 꽃과 식물들을 24cm의 원형 비단틀에 그려 넣어 마음의 정원을 만들어내는 작업을 하고 있다. 각각의 P.Plant는 보통의 오늘을 위한 기록이며, 기록들이 모여 개인의 정원이 펼쳐진다. 전체의 P.Plant에서 보여지는 야생의 생명력은 작가가 말하는 사유의 씨앗이 된다. 이것은 오늘을 살아내는 동시대인들에게 작가가 보내는 위로라 할 수 있다.
전통채색기법과 인간상에 대한 사유를 기반으로 연구한 작품<열반>으로 제19회 대한민국불교미술대전에서의 대상 수상을 시작으로. 14번의 초대개인전(서울, 베이징)과 80여회의 그룹전에 참여하였다. 이외 CGV와의 콜라보레이션을 비롯해 광고작화 등 다양한 분야와 협업하며 작품활동을 하고 있다.
